MARK BRUZZONE

Chief Executive Officer

Mark has over 20 years’ experience in design, construction, facilities management and operations across the infrastructure, transportation, water, energy and natural resources sectors in Australia and New Zealand. Mark is a leader who focuses on people development and growth and has a breadth of experience as an executive leading teams towards success.

Prior to joining Abergeldie, Mark held various executive and non-executive director leadership positions in top-tier companies such as MWH Australia, PAE New Zealand and Stantec, including as ANZ Managing Director of Stantec. Mark has substantial experience delivering complex infrastructure projects and has played a pivotal role in a number of partnering projects across Australia and New Zealand. He is a Chartered Engineering Executive, Fellow of the Institute of Engineers Australia, and Member of both the Institute of Company Directors and The CEO Institute.

MICHAEL BOYLE

Executive Chairman

Mick founded Abergeldie Complex Infrastructure in 1994. Mick has a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) from Sydney University. He began his civil engineering career in 1982, initially with major contractors Dillighams, White Industries, Thiess and Costain, working on mining, marine and large infrastructure projects in Australia and, for several years, in England and Scotland. His roles included field engineer, site engineer, project engineer, and project manager. His outstanding skills in financial management, innovative engineering construction, team recruiting and team-building allowed him to start Abergeldie and build it into the success it is today.

ROBIN CRAIG

Board Member

With a background in social work and community development, Robin co-founded Abergeldie Complex Infrastructure 1994. She has held numerous positions within the company in particular guiding the culture of community and social responsibility. Through liaising with partners such as St Vincent de Paul, Beyond Blue, WaterAid and Oxfam she has fostered an understanding of the need to work sustainably within the communities in which we operate and support those in greater need. The introduction of responsible waste management systems, energy-saving procedures and providing community involvement opportunities for staff, in addition to consistent monetary support to our community partners has resulted in Abergeldie becoming a leader in Corporate Social Responsibility.

DAVID WOOD

Chief Financial Officer

David is a result-driven and accomplished leader with a wealth of experience and specialised knowledge in providing financial strategies that drive revenue growth for multi-national companies. As Abergeldie continues on its rapid growth journey, David will be a great asset to our team leading our financial services strategy and spearheading our financial controls and processes. David’s expertise and knowledge across all facets of financial strategy will be advantageous to our continued growth as a leading infrastructure contractor.

JAMES DAVIES

Chief Operating Officer

James joined Abergeldie as a Project Engineer in 1999, bringing a strong background in project planning, document control and contract management on major projects for Tier One contractors. His project management abilities were soon applied to a very broad range of Abergeldie projects, including mining infrastructure, roadworks, pumping stations, bridgeworks, wastewater treatment plants, marine works, rail infrastructure and general civil construction. His unusually acute understanding of the broader implications of individual construction management decisions quickly marked him for advancement to more senior roles, including oversight of construction management on Queensland, ACT and southern NSW projects.

STEPHEN GASSON

Executive General Manager

Stephen joined Abergeldie in February 2020 in the position of Executive General Manager. Stephen brings over 20 years’ experience in the water sector with a wealth of knowledge managing multi-discipline project management and construction teams. Stephen oversees the operations of the Rehabilitation, Water, our joint ventures with Melbourne Water (SFPJV), Sydney Water (B2GJV) and our Regional Water Program Delivery business teams.

MATTHEW BOYLE

Executive General Manager

Matthew Boyle brings a lifetime of practical and executive leadership experience to the team. His ability to form close working relationships with clients at the highest level enables Matt to adopt new and exciting processes for this contracting sector. With exposure to projects of a massive scale which include construction in the tunnelling, energy rail and most importantly the water sector, under Matt’s leadership Abergeldie Watertech has secured many large contracts and delivered countless successful contracts for authorities nationally.

IAN NEAL

Non-Executive Director

After a three-year association with Abergeldie in a consulting capacity, Ian joined the Board of Abergeldie Holdings Pty Ltd as a non-executive director in August 2009.

He brings to his role broad experience and highly developed skills in business strategy, planning, corporate finance, leadership development, mergers and acquisitions.

Ian has helped Abergeldie’s Board to set clearly defined objectives for the management team, enabling the company to create value by ensuring business strategy has a sharp financial focus, balanced with the needs of all stakeholders.
