Abergeldie begins construction on the new Burley Griffin Way road-over-rail bridge at Wallendbeen

We are pleased to announce that we have been tasked to build the new Burley Griffin Way road-over-rail bridge at Wallendbeen.

This exciting project was awarded to us late last year and is part of the UGL Regional Linx contract to operate and maintain the Country Regional Network on behalf of Transport for NSW.

The new concrete girder bridge on Burley Griffin Way at Wallendbeen will replace the temporary single-lane bridge installed in October 2021. The new bridge will feature a 30-metre-long bridge deck with better approaches and wider lanes, opening up a more efficient freight route for the region.

Abergeldie CEO Mark Bruzzone said, “Abergeldie is committed to delivering quality multidisciplinary rail projects across NSW and we are pleased to be working with UGL Regional Linx to deliver this important road-over-rail-bridge, improving travel times for road users and the local community”.
