Picton Wastewater Treatment Works- Stage 2 Upgrade
As part of a major work package under Sydney Water's Network Facilities Renewal Program Abergeldie, and its joint venture partner, were engaged for detailed design, civil and building construction, mechanical and electrical installation and commissioning for major process and civil upgrades and capacity amplification to upgrade the Picton Wastewater Treatment Plant.
Abergeldie was initially given responsibility for civil and building elements of the works, with the joint venture partner to undertake mechanical and electrical elements. Late in the project, the joint venture partner withdrew and Abergeldie took over full responsibility for completion of mechanical and electrical installation, testing and commissioning to complete the project under a revised contract with Abergeldie as head contractor.
